Tennessee’s full 74-player travel roster for the Kentucky game.LEXINGTON, Ky.– Tennessee’s third SEC road game of the 2023 season against Kentucky on Saturday night provided another look at the 74-man travel roster for the Vols.Conference rules allow road teams to travel that many players for league games and Tennessee, like other programs, have competitions for spots on those travel squads.Who travels and who doesn’t, particularly for freshmen, sometimes can reveal where some players stand and what the coaching staff might be planning in terms of redshirt and roster management.The SEC voted early last month to increase the travel roster size from 70 players to 74 players.This will be Tennessee’s first game without starting cornerback Kamal Hadden, who suffered a shoulder injury (rotator cuff) in the loss at Alabama last week.He joins wide receiver Bru McCoy (ankle), safety Christian Charles (Achilles), linebacker Kwauze Garland (2022 injury) and freshman defensive lineman Tyree Weathersby (hip) as the players who are out for the season.
